RIG REFURBISHMENT

AP101

THE ASIAN PEARL 101, or in short, “AP101” is a hydraulic workover rig unit (HWU) which is used for P&A (plug and abandonment) and wells intervention operations. These operations focuses on maintaining and servicing existing wells to alter production levels to a satisfactory and required level, but also for remedial objectives.

REFURBISHED BY REGOMS

The AP101 has been abandoned and unused for several years. REGOMS are proudly the first Malaysian company to be contracted to refurbish the entire AP101.

The entire project was completed in the span of 6 months until successful showcase and witness by Malaysia’s NOC, PETRONAS.
